The Department of Nursing at Southeast Missouri State University has been awarded funds from the Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) to educate nursing students through an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and to promote retention in the accelerated BSN, online RN-to-BSN and traditional (four-year) BSN programs.

Southeast Missouri State University has been awarded $24,826 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship Grant program to provide financial assistance to students in Southeast’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program.

Students in the College of Health & Human Services are invited to judge which department makes the best chili. The event will be held at 5 p.m. Dec. 11 in the Dearmont Kitchen. The event is free and open to all HHS majors.
