Awarded to Human Environmental Studies major who shows evidence of merit, need and achievement in understanding literature and history, as well as in human environmental studies. First preference will be given to students from Wayne County or bordering counties in Missouri. Deadline is March 1.

ER011. LUCILE FARRAR RUSSELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. Open to Human Environmental Studies (Home Economics) majors at any year level. Award is based on academic merit and can vary to meet the financial need of the student, but cannot exceed the established University budget for a single student. Applicants must submit a FAFSA. ED026. WALTER DAVIDSON SCHOLARSHIP. Open to fully admitted students in Counseling. A one-page essay describing how the scholarship will be of benefit toward attainment of the M.A. degree in Counseling is required. Recipients of the State of MO Scholl Counselor Transition Grant are excluded. Deadline is March 1.

EH025. GRACE V. HOOVER INTERNATIONAL STUDENT. Awarded to an international student majoring in a Human Environmental Studies program at the undergraduate or graduate level. Applicant must have completed 30 credits hours with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship is renewable if the recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA. Deadline is March 1.

EK013. NEIL KEENEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP.  Candidates should be U.S. citizens working toward degrees granted by the College of Science and Mathematics, the College of Health and Human Services or the Harrison College of Business. Selection of the scholarship recipient should be prioritized in the following order: African-American biracial, Hispanic-American, Native American and non-miniorities in that order. Single parents should be given priority, if singe parents are present in the eligible pool. Preference should be given to Crawford, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and Washington county candidates in that order. If there are no qualified candidates from these counties, the award may be made to a qualifying candidate from another rural SEMO county.  Deadline is March 1.

DOROTHY LEE NILSEN SCHOLARSHIP.  Applicant must be at least a first semester junior in nursing courses and be in good standing in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. The scholarship is automatically renewable providing the applicant meets the scholarship requirements.  Deadline is March 1.

EO008. NAOMI SAGO OELSEN INTERIOR DESIGN. Open to Interior Design students with a 3.0 GPA who merit this award through academic performance. Financial need will be considered. Deadline is March 1.

EO005. BILLIE O'NEAL. Open to students who major in Physical Education, have completed 60 credit hours with a minimum overall 2.5 GPA and a 3.0 GPA in their major courses, and have a minimum ACT score of 20. A letter of recommendation from a Southeast Missouri State University faculty member must be submitted with the application. Financial need is a consideration. Deadline is March 1.

EP013. LEE PARK SCHOLARSHIP. Available to a students majoring in Physical Education who have completed 30 credit hours with an overall 3.0 GPA and who demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students who have a martial arts background and who are active in student/professional physical education organizations. Deadline is March 1.

ET004. THREE RIVERS CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD CRIMINAL JUSTICE. Open to residents of Wayne, Butler, Ripley, Stoddard, and Carter Counties. Applicants must be majoring in Corrections or Law Enforcement, have at least 60 credit hours completed, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Deadline is March 1.

ET005. TRI-COUNTY CITIZENS ADVISORY BOARD. Open to residents of Scott, New Madrid or Mississippi Counties who are majoring, or minoring, in Criminal Justice and have completed 60 semester hours with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Financial need is a determining factor. Deadline is July 15.
