Open to students pursuing a degree in Human Environmental Studies, Family and Consumer Science Education, Dietetics, Food Services, or Hospitality Management with at least half-time enrollment. Open to students in the Healthcare field with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and financial need. Preference will be given to Perry County residents. Deadline is March 1. ER011. LUCILE FARRAR RUSSELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. Open to Human Environmental Studies (Home Economics) majors at any year level. Award is based on academic merit and can vary to meet the financial need of the student, but cannot exceed the established University budget for a single student. Applicants must submit a FAFSA. The scholarship is renewable if the recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA. Deadline is March 1. EK013. NEIL KEENEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP. Candidates should be U.S. citizens working toward degrees granted by the College of Science and Mathematics, the College of Health and Human Services or the Harrison College of Business. Selection of the scholarship recipient should be prioritized in the following order: African-American biracial, Hispanic-American, Native American and non-miniorities in that order. Single parents should be given priority, if singe parents are present in the eligible pool. Preference should be given to Crawford, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and Washington county candidates in that order. If there are no qualified candidates from these counties, the award may be made to a qualifying candidate from another rural SEMO county.
