Apply for a Graduate Assistantship in the Department of History

The Department of History has Graduate Assistantships that offer students the chance to develop their professional skills while receiving some financial support via a stipend and a fee waiver. Preference is given to applicants with teaching experience and/or historic preservation experience. Deadlines are March 15 and October 15 yearly, but since Graduate Assistantships are generally held by awardees until they graduate, the assistantships are not always available yearly. However, the Department occasionally receives short-term Graduate Assistantships, so it is always worth putting in an application.
