The department offers a B.A. in History as well as a B.S. in Social Studies for those wishing to teach at the secondary level. We are especially proud of our undergraduate Historic Preservation program, one of only a few in the nation. At the graduate level, we offer 18-hour certificates in Heritage Educaton and Historic Preservation and M.A. degrees in History and Public History.
