We offer several programs to enable you to reach your goals. Our B.A. in History prepares you for a range of careers, from archivist to business executive, broadcaster to editor, manager to consultant, lawyer to writer...the opportunities are endless. For those wishing to teach at the secondary level, we also offer a B.S. in Social Studies. We are especially proud of our undergraduate Historic Preservation program, one of only a few in the nation, and our B.S. in Historic Preservation will prepare you for a variety of dynamic careers. In addition, we offer a B.A. in Social Science that allows you the flexibility to choose one major concentration and will prepare for for careers such as survey researcher, market research analyst, policy analyst, human resource manager, and social science researcher, or for those interested in careers in military service and law enforcement. At the graduate level, we offer 18-hour certificates in Heritage Education and Historic Preservation, an M.A. in History, and an M.A. in Public History (where you can specialize in Historic Preservation or Heritage Education).
