This community is designed to support current students who are already in the nursing program and those students who are working towards admittance into the Nursing program. First-year students and upper-class students within the Health and Human Service majoring in Nursing will participate in organized activities sponsored by the office of Residence Life with opportunities to collaborate with faculty and current health care professionals. In addition, this community will provide opportunities for residents to learn from each other and gain experience in nursing through partnerships within Southeast and Cape Girardeau. This community is located in New Hall at Wildwood.
How to Sign Up: Current students should participate in the Returning Student Room Selection process through the Office of Residence Life. New students should indicate their preference for this community on their Contract for University Housing and return the application that they will receive in the mail once they complete their Contract for University Housing.
There is no extra cost associated with the Community; however, students are expected to sign and agree to a set of expectations for participating in the Community. This will be available at the time of Returning Student Room Selection Process or included in the new student application packet.
