This themed community is designed to support an incoming and upper class student who is studying Horticultural Science, Plant Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Business and Environmental Science within the College of Science, Technology and Agriculture. Students choosing to live in this Themed Community will be housed in LaFerla Hall, which is in close proximity to their academic classes. Any student who desires to participate in the Environment/Sustainability Themed Community must indicate their preference for this community through the Contract for University Housing assignment process and return the application that they will receive in the mail once they complete their Contract for University Housing.
How to Sign Up: Current students should participate in the Returning Student Room Selection process through the Office of Residence Life. New students should indicate their preference for this community on their Contract for University Housing and return the application that they will receive in the mail once they complete their Contract for University Housing.
There is no extra cost associated with the Community; however, students are expected to sign and agree to a set of expectations for participating in the Community. This will be available at the time of Returning Student Room Selection Process or included in the new student application packet.
