Hello, and welcome to Southeast!  My name is Michael Rokicki and I am the Hall Director for Merick Hall!  I am going into my second year at Southeast and first as the Hall Director for Merick!  I come from Bayonne, NJ, and even though I am far from home, I have come to call Southeast home.  I hope in your time here that you are able to do the same. 

I received my Bachelor’s degree in May 2008 in Radio and Television Communication from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ.  There I was an RA for two and a half years and discovered that I wanted to go into higher education as a living.  My Master’s is in College Student Development and Administration from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV, where I was a Graduate Hall Director for a first year residence hall.

In August of 2011 I accepted the position of Hall Director at Southeast and have been enjoying it ever since. Outside of work, some of my hobbies are watching baseball (especially my beloved New York Yankees), playing video games, reading, and preparing for my wedding in October.  2012-13 is going to be an exciting year, and I am looking forward to enjoying it with all of you!
