Kim Fees joined the University in 2004 and has served as the Assistant Director for Facilities and Operations in Residence Life since 2007. In his role as Assistant Director, Fees is responsible for serving as the department liaison with the Facilities Management department and Chartwells Dining Services in coordinating the provision of all capital improvement, preventative maintenance, repair, custodial and facility support services in all campus housing areas and overseeing summer housing operations for both the summer academic semester and summer camps and conferences groups.

Fees is a Southeast Missouri State University alumnus, earning his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from Southeast. Kim's research efforts have been on the biology of fish in the waterways of Missouri, in particular the impcats of heavy metals on these ecosystems.

Outside of the office, Fees enjoys riding his motorcycle, working out at the Recreation Center, target shooting, archery, camping and fishing
