Mrs. Kim McElroy joined the Office of Residence Life in April of 2001. Kim is a fall 2010 Southeast Missouri State University graduate, earning a Bachelor of General Studies degree. Kim has also attained a Certified Professional Secretary certificate in May 2009.

In the front office position of Senior Account Clerk, Kim is responsible for assisting with phone calls and walk-in traffic for the office. Other responsibilities include contract and bill processing. In the course of her day Kim works closely with: the central office, hall directors, resident assistants, Chartwells, other university offices, students and their parents.

At home, Kim has been married to Randy for eight years and is helping to raise his thirteen year-old son Jeremy. Her hobbies are collecting butterflies, crocheting and cooking. She is also kept busy assisting her husband with catering jobs. A few years ago Kim moved to Advance, Missouri to also help her mother, the caregiver, of Kim’s grandmother who is 94 years old. Kim currently attends Advance First church.
