Cooperative Bachelor of Science in Technology Management
The Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology at Southeast Missouri State University, in cooperation with St. Louis Community College is providing the opportunity for students in the St. Louis region to complete the requirements for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Technology Management in St. Louis. This is a 2+2 program because students seeking admission must first satisfactorily complete an Associate of Applied Science Degree from an accredited institution in an industrial or engineering technology related field with a minimum 2.0 g.p.a. (4.0 scale). The Associate of Applied Science Degree can be from St. Louis Community College or another accredited two-year institution. Upon being admitted to the Bachelor of Science Degree Program, students will be governed by the academic policies and degree requirements in place at Southeast Missouri State University.
The Bachelor of Science Degree is designed to assist individuals who have completed a quality technical program and, because of changing career goals or promotion opportunities in the work place, desire to complete a bachelor of science degree that will prepare them for industrial supervision or management positions. The program will be available entirely in St. Louis through a combination of methods including face-to-face and online instruction. Each students program course requirements will vary, but generally students will be able to complete up to 68-70 credit hours at St. Louis Community College (or other area community college), and the remainder through Southeast Missouri State University (50+ credit hours).
Each students program will be different. Because of different requirements for the associate of applied science degree, advisement is very important. Cooperative Master of Science in Technology Management

(4.0 scale). The Bachelor of Applied Science Degree can be from the undergraduate technology management program (2+2) or an accredited 4-year institution. Upon being admitted to the Master of Science Degree Program, students will be governed by the academic policies and degree requirements in place at Southeast Missouri State University.
The Master of Science in Technology Management is designed to serve students who have completed bachelor degrees in industrial/engineering technology or related disciplines. The program is designed to serve technical managers, facility managers, production supervisors, engineers, technicians, and related types of individuals who wish to study full-time or part-time to prepare for or enhance their leadership positions in industry and related enterprises. Program emphasis is on technical management, improving productivity, and problem- solving. Graduates will be expected to use information systems to communicate effectively, process information, and assess data to solve problems in industry. They will be prepared to evaluate the performance of technical systems and interpret the significance of data pertaining to product quality and reliability. They will become familiar with contemporary issues relating to people and technology in competitive world-class markets and will be able to identify and apply techniques for organizing resources to enhance productivity and accomplish objectives in a cost-efficient and timely manner. Graduates will serve as effective leaders, supervisors, and managers in technical enterprises..
