Tara Cooper: Journal Entry 11/09/2007

This week has gone by so fast! It seems as though I was just beginning to dread waking up on Monday morning and now I am already excited because it is Friday. My new approach to school this week has been, “Do not procrastinate” and I think I have done pretty well so far. I have been trying to get motivated to write a five page physics paper that is due November 20th, and I now have one page done! I am going to try and get two more pages done tonight because I have another paper and presentation due the 19th. I have a feeling that my life is about to get pretty stressful.

As for last week, it began wonderfully. On Sunday I went to church, and after the service about twenty of the college students ate lunch at El Torero and it was a quite enjoyable and tasty reprieve from the normal Chartwells lunch. Later that afternoon, two of my friends and I drove to the Trail of Tears State Park and went on a two mile trek through the woods. It was a perfect day to be outside and the sun was shining magnificently through the trees. It was simply breathtaking. I took a load of pictures and had a good time looking out across the river and enjoying the scenery when we finally made it to the top of the trail. Even though it was just a two mile hike, it wore me out. I came back to my room and crashed for an hour.

The rest of the week was pretty uneventful. I can’t remember any interesting stories or happenings, so I am left to conclude that it was just another routine week in the life of Tara Cooper. Maybe there will be some entertaining adventures to tell of next week…
