Tara Cooper: Journal Entry 1/18/2008

Ah, my first journal in over a month.  Where to begin?  So much has happened since I last shared my thoughts.  I ended last semester with good grades and finals that, for the most part, were not too difficult.  Christmas break was a wonderful reprieve from school work.  I had a great holiday season spending time with my best friends and family.  I was even able to visit my boyfriend for a few days over New Year’s.  However, towards the end of break I was readier than ever to return to school. I have now been back for almost a week, and I am pretty happy about it.  I have a brand new schedule and just completed my first week of classes.  I have a feeling that I will enjoy my variety of classes this semester, but it could prove to be somewhat difficult.  Although I am glad to be back in my humble niche, I miss my friends and family.  I already feel a little lonely, but once I get back into the swing of things, I should feel better.  Some of my goals this semester are to work out weekly (I already am!), to not procrastinate, and to get involved more on campus. I also need to find a job because I need money to pay for school.  I am kind of stressed about the situation because I do not know where to begin even looking for a job.  Hopefully I will figure it out.

Unfortunately a close friend of mine just called and was in a car wreck so I have to go (she is ok).
