Tara Cooper: Journal Entry 04/14/2008

Last Friday night my roommate and I went to CaSEMO. We wanted to win a DVD player because ours is broken, but we didn’t. After that a couple of us went to Starbucks. When we came back to campus we played on the piano in my first floor lounge. On Saturday I tried to work on my project. I didn’t get much accomplished. That night I went to a flute recital and walked around town and campus. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately that was the end of the relaxation.

I can’t even begin to explain my stress level this week and for the weeks to come I am sure. I have been working on a huge psychology presentation and I felt like I was getting nowhere. Today I have made some progress and I am really happy about it. I am losing increasing amounts of sleep and the rest of the semester is still full of papers I need to write and tests I need to take. I cannot wait for summer to be here! The good thing is that I have gotten A’s on the past three tests I have taken, so my efforts are paying off.

Yesterday I signed up for housing and I will be living with a friend next year in Towers South. I would have liked to live in West or Cheney, but I just can’t afford it. South will be just fine though. This weekend I am going to be doing homework. I will also be hanging out with people all day Saturday because it is my friend’s birthday and we might go visit his hometown. We were all going to go to Florida but I backed out because I have a lot of things to do this weekend and my parents didn’t really want me to go. I can’t even remember what I did this past weekend because my brain feels like mush.
