Hello everyone! Well, my first semester is about under my belt! So far, so good. Many of my classes aren’t doing test finals, instead we are doing take-home tests or we had to turn assignments in last week to count as our final.
I can honestly say that I have enjoyed it here. College life is amazing. You really get a taste of what it is like to be on your own. You don’t have anyone to tell you when to go to bed, when to eat, when to wake up for class, when to do your homework and when to come home. The hardest part about this is going back home where you do have some of these things. I love my family, but it is hard to go from having your own rules that you made for yourself back to your parents’ rules.
It will be weird to switch classes and teachers next semester; I’m used to having year-long courses. I do have three of the same professors next semester. At least I know their style.
I’m looking forward to spending a month with my friends whom I don’t get to see often. I already have a few plans, but I mostly excited to spend time with my family over the holidays. I hope all of you have a wonderful break, good luck on the rest of your semester. Seniors, only one more left to go! Make it a good one and have tons of fun. I hope everyone has a safe holiday especially if you are traveling. I will write and I’m sure I will have stories to tell when I return which will not be until Mid-January.
This picture is a few of my friends here. The two girls dance with me on the team. The guy is a Sig Ep I met this year.
