Hey y’all!!  I feel absolutely horrible that it has been this long since I have written a journal entry.  The reasons: school, dance, school, eating, dance, sleeping.  Well, from where I left off, YES I did receive the Student Ambassadors job.  So I will be giving tours now, so if you are coming to Show-Me Day, look for me. So, I have had to go through training for that.  I also am pledging for the Business Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi.  It is so much fun, but definitely a lot of hard work, but it is like everything else I do.  Sundancers is almost over.  I’m sad. I’ve had a great time with all of these girls, but I’m really looking forward to try-outs and the new girls.  Good luck to everyone trying out.  We are performing at a game tonight and at a game on Saturday.  Then hopefully both the Men’s team will be hosting a playoff game like the Women’s team is.  Good Luck to both, hope they do well.  It would be great to do this being the first time we are the REDHAWKS!!!  Also, the 5th was my birthday.  I spent it here with some friends, went out to eat and had a great time at a Sig Ep party. 

So for the important stuff: school.  School has been more challenging this semester.  Last semester I received really great grades and I thought I had it down and that college was going to be a breeze.  It’s not.  You have to keep working; cause if you don’t it is real easy to slack off.  I have stuck with it, but there was one course where I struggled with so I dropped it and I will take it next semester in hopes of doing better.  Homework this semester has been a little overwhelming, but I can do it.  It will get easier hopefully.  I guess everyone is right when they say college is hard, but if you don’t work at it, you won’t learn anything and then you will not go anywhere!  I promise to do better from now on about keeping in touch.  It really has been on my list of things to do, but I had to get a project done, write three papers, study for three tests and dance.  So sorry y’all and I will talk to you all later!
