Dana-Leigh Formon: Journal Entry 10/12/2006

So the rehearsals continue…even into Fall Break.  I can’t go home for Fall Break anyways, so I suppose the rehearsals give me something to do.  I just wish I got a break!  I’m getting emails from all of my choreographers “Rehearsal times for next week”, “Don’t forget about the lighting rehearsal on the 31st” – blah, blah.  Some of the dancers and I go to Cosmo’s after a lot of the rehearsals though, so it’s great…they pretty much have the best gelato and sorbet in the entire world!  So going back to rehearsals and such; the Fall Dance Concert is on the second and third weekends of November, and I expect everyone who reads this to be there!  Honestly though, it really will be fun to watch and all of the pieces are interesting, even the ballet piece is cool…and I have solos, which makes it even better!  Lol!

I need to clean my room – well, it’s clean, but I want to reorganize where I have my printer and my books and stuff…I do this about every two weeks, I don’t know why.  I suppose there are only so many ways I can reorganize my room without moving my furniture, and when the day comes when I truly realize that, I’ll let ya know!

My roommate and I went to Target today, and I got a whole bunch of crap, like always.  I got some microwaveable Pad Thai and some toothpaste, among other random things.  My roommate wanted me to come home with her this weekend, and I wanted to go – but I have rehearsal on Sunday and I “blocked” a time spot out in the Parker Hall dance studio to rehearse my pieces, so I need to stay here.  It’s just crazy scary knowing that the dance concert is only a month away – TIME FLIES!
