During Homecoming I was…

So I heard homecoming was fun, I was…as usual…in rehearsal.  I caught a bit of the parade from my New Hall dorm window, and it looked pretty cool.  I couldn’t go to the game either, but from what I heard it was pretty darn fun as well.  

Next week, Wednesday starts “hell-week” in the dance department.  Wednesday is our first crew watch for the Dance Concert and just about everyday after that there are crew, tech, and dress rehearsals…with a call-time of 5pm…yeah.  Tonight my rehearsal was cancelled, but I am still personally holding a rehearsal for a piece that I am choreographing for the dance department’s Brown Bag Dance Showing on the 29th of November…boy o boy!  We also have a Makeup lecture/meeting today in Parker at 5 so that the choreographers can go over just how they want our makeup to be for the Performances and how they want our hair. 

Anywho, during the Dance Concert (I don’t know which weekend…) the department is having a Dance Day – when possible students come and take a technique class with us and get to see the Dance Concert – it’ll be really fun!  And we get to talk with them and be all friendly!  I love being friendly!  I’m definitely looking forward to it!!  I hear that there’s a kid coming who wants to be a Dance and Pre-Med major too – JUST LIKE ME!  Yay! 

So the Project Runway Finale was COOL HUH?!  I loved Jeffrey’s work – I’m glad he won.  Now, Top Chef is on and I fond a new program to devote myself to.  I’m trying to catch whatever I can of the new CSI: Las Vegas series and America’s Next Top Model. 

So, for yet another semester, I will be “The busiest little Freshman”…it’s the nickname a whole bunch of people have given me because I have 20 credit hours…and it’s going to happen again next semester, WITH ALL MY CLASSES AT 8AM!  Eeek!  Advising is going alright so far, I got my Theater and Dance classes planned out and approved with no problems…but I have MAJOR questions with my math and sciences, so we’ll see how long I’m in Dr.Champine’s office on Tuesday…oy. 
Two Thursdays from now, we’re having a Photo Run of the Dance Concert when a photographer is coming to take pictures of us all during the dances, I’ll be sure to post those as soon as I get them!
