So everyone’s gearing up for Spring Break…hotel reservations are made, cruise tickets have been received, and everyone “totally can’t wait to hit the beaches!”  Well I’m not going home for Spring Break…I’m not even going any place glamorous.  I actually don’t really care!  Ha!  The dancers in the Southeast Dance Ensemble (NOT to be mistaken for the dance team) and a few other dance students are attending the five-day American College Dance Festival (or ACDF for short) in Ohio.  I’m totally looking forward to it!  We get to perform, and even potentially get our piece entered to perform and the national ACDF, and take all sorts of workshop classes on top of it!  If anyone knows Michelle Boyd, make sure to congratulate her, because we’re taking her student-choreographed piece, “Apologize”, to ACDF with us!  It’s a really big deal, and the piece that she choreographed is really amazing!  Well anyways, we leave on Thursday morning, BRIGHT AND EARLY 6am, and don’t get back until Tuesday night (Yes, the Tuesday into Spring Break).

42^nd Street is going great, too.  Once I get back from ACDF, we all (everyone in the cast) has three twelve-hour days of rehearsal to look forward to during Spring Break (which means NO Spring Break!)  O well.  I’d rather be doing something useful (that burns calories!) than be sitting at home doing nothing and having to endure two 13-hour drives to and from Wisconsin!  It’s still snowing down there anyways, so seriously, why bother?! 

Midterms are right around the corner!  And that means I’m almost half way through my 25 credit-hour semester!  It’s actually not as bad as I thought it would be.  I don’t have time to myself, but (call me odd) that doesn’t bother me.  It keeps me busy, and that’s how I’d like to have things.
