Dana-Leigh Formon: Journal Entry 5/9/2007 As Finals Come to a Close…I am Liberated! Well I hope everyone’s had a good year. It’s actually gone by really fast for me! I’ve made lots of new friends, all of whom I will miss dearly during the summer months. I can’t believe everything that I have gotten to be a part of this year – 42nd Street, having 25 credit hours in one semester, Fall Dance Concert, a variety of performance opportunities in the Theater/Dance Department, Phi Eta Sigma Honors induction, declaring my Pre-Med BS two days before school started, being a part of Pre-Med Club, going to the American College Dance Festival with the school’s dance company…it’s all been so amazing! A lot of my friends back home in Wisconsin have had “so-so” first years, and I feel so happy knowing that I have had such a great year and that adjusting to the college life hasn’t been all that difficult. I always wonder what my first year would have been like if I would have chosen another school – and then I stop, because I would never want to trade my first year here for ANYTHING! I’m telling all of you incoming freshman next year, this is an awesome experience and you really will enjoy it. I haven’t even had a social life, and have still had a blast. I hope everyone has had an amazing semester and year and I wish all the luck in the world to the graduating seniors (Erin, Alex, & Sheri!), for they have taught me so much! I welcome all of the incoming students next year – I know you will love it here! Thanks to all for reading my journals,
