Before leaving for Chicago, I had to pack for Thanksgiving break.  We got back to SEMO at three in the morning and I woke up early, grabbed my bags, and headed home.  I’m glad I packed before I left.  I was so ready to be home!  I really needed this break.

I got home Wednesday afternoon.  Finally Thursday rolled around and I headed across the road to my grandparents house for some yummy food.  Towers and Rowdy’s aren’t bad, but they sure don’t compare to my Grandma’s cooking!  I couldn’t wait to see my family.  My older brother and his girlfriend even made it home.  I ate way too much, took too many pictures, and slept the rest of the day.  The weekend went by fast and before I knew it, it was time to head back to school.  Before I left though I helped decorate our family tree and also wrapped a few of those presents I bought at 5 a.m. on Black Friday!
