Wow this week has been a transition from my comfortable Thanksgiving vacation back to the regular school routine. However, it was fun while it lasted. My dad came and picked me up last Tuesday. We made the long 5 ½ hour ride back to Kansas City. It had been a while since I'd been home. My dad went into my room and did what he called cleaning, but rather I called destroying. He threw out some of my old notes from high-school and threw out my TV. which he said didn't work but it does. The next morning it snowed and ruined much of my plans for the day. Since when does it snow the day before Thanksgiving? I did have a good Thanksgiving. When you live on campus at a college you tend to miss those home cooked meals. Thanksgiving was just what the doctor order, and it's always a plus to spend time with friends, family and your significant other. The week flew by fast and on Sunday it was back to
SEMO to finish off the rest of the semester. I think an ending is motivation for everyone. Everything picked up so quickly for me. I had a paper due Monday, a presentation to do Tuesday, and a psychology exam to take on Thursday.

Friday was my planned day to rest, but I'm not quite sure I'll get to--I have two classes and off to work.  I hope to go out and do something fun this weekend. Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity is hosting several events and I plan to attend a few. Early Saturday morning I have to get up and take my WP002 exam. This is an exam all EN140 students have to take. I'm a little nervous but I'm sure everything will turn out fine. It's coming time to study to take finals and then go home for Christmas. My roommate and I went out and bought a miniature Christmas tree and decorations to keep us in the Christmas spirit until we go home. Well that's about it for now.
