Oh man! My life is going crazy!!!!!!!!! So much to do with such little time! GO CARDINALS!!!!!! Last weekend was fall break. I went to Southwest Missouri State University to visit 2 of my good friends. We partied and had a good time hanging out with each other. SMS is a really spread out campus. I don’t like it. SEMO is really compact and easy to get to every class, even the far ones. When I was at SMS I looked at the campus map and asked if they had shuttles to go to class because it is REALLY spread out. They have too many parking lots in side the campus. Other than the long walks from here to there, I had a lot of fun hanging out with my friends. The day before I had left to see my friends at SMS I had gone to the cardinals’ playoff game. It was intense!
School is going great. Too much reading but I can handle it. I have been sick the past 2 weeks with strep throat which is killing me. I hate it. Student government has never been better. My committee is setting up a volunteer work project this Saturday which they elected me in charge of. I have been going nuts trying to set it up through the Parks and Recreation Center. I finally finished all the details right before I started writing this view of my hectic life. We are having it at Cape LaCroix Recreational trail. It will be stupid no doubt but when is cleaning up trash ever fun? I guess since I get to talk to a bunch of people I only see on Mondays at STUGOV meetings will be alright.
Oh man homecoming is coming up and it is going to be a blast. Ok in my last essay I told you all about the girl I really liked and am now dating. Well the problem that I had was that about a month ago an active Sigma Chi hooked me up with another girl to go to homecoming with. This girl was a sophomore in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. I didn’t want to hurt the girls feelings but I really wanted to go with the girl I had hooked up with. Well it all worked out. The girl I was going with got weird and so now I am taking the girl I am now dating. Awesome stuff.
Fraternity pledgeship is never better. Im bonding with all of my pledge brothers and really becoming great friends with them. Everything about the fraternity is awesome. All of the active members are great guys. I cannot complain about a thing. My pledge father and I are starting to hang out and really get to know each other. I never knew we went to the same high school, but 3 years apart. He is a great guy who goes nuts over the cardinals when they are in the playoffs.
Summary of everything- awesome. I cannot stress how much fun I am having down here. High school is no where close to how fun this campus is.
