The weeks have been flying by. This semester has been so different from my first.  My classes are much different; I’m taking much more University Studies classes than theatre classes, so I’m at the River Campus for classes much less.  I still basically live there; however, I have classes like Economics and U.S. Political Systems that are classes I never would’ve taken of my own free will, but have been interesting none-the-less.

Being the theatre-goer I am, I went home this past weekend and saw Jesus Christ Super Star at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.  This weekend I am seeing Crimes of the Heart in our very own Wendy Kurka Rust Flexible Theatre. http://www.semo.edu/news/index_16721.htm You should check it out!

Dance-apalooza is coming along really well!  We’ll soon be moving rehearsals into the Bedell.  The show opens February 28th and will run through March 2nd. It will be incredible; some pieces have been choreographed by guest instructors such as Sean Curren and the Jump Rhythm and Jazz Project, as well as our staff and select students.  Check it out! http://www.semo.edu/rivercampus/events/theatredance_13874.htm

As for sororities, I’m not sure that I’ve quite found a place where I fit yet.  I will most likely go through recruitment in the fall, because it seems like something I really want to get involved in, mainly because of the philanthropy opportunities.  I miss all of the volunteering I did in high school, so I’d love to be involved in something that gave me an outlet for that!

The weather here has been nuts by the way.  Last week we had tornadoes, followed by snow and cancelled classes! This week started off so warm and muggy, but it’s back to cold again.  On Monday, it was so foggy!  Can you tell in my picture with my friend Kaitlyn?
