Michael Willis: Journal Entry 1/18/2008

Well first semester is long and gone, and as I look back on it, I can point out so many positives that have made me more organized and a better college student.  I feel as if I have developed better study habits than I ever had in high school.  Socially, I feel like I have become less shy (although I am still very shy in my opinion), but I feel as if I am more comfortable to walk up to someone and meet them.
These are just a few positives that I can carry on into this semester and beyond.

Second semester started this past Monday and so far, everything is going great.  My classes are a little tougher than last semester, but I think I will enjoy them more.  I'm really going to have to dedicate more time to my homework, especially Applied Calculus, so that
I can make good grades, hopefully As and Bs, and be able to keep them all semester long.

My fraternity is getting ready to begin Rush Week this coming up week.  For those who do not know, rush week is when each fraternity and sorority set up various socials and activities to draw in students to both meet the Greeks and have a good time, and to also show them the fun and excitement that takes place in Greek life.  Hopefully Lambda Chi Alpha can recruit around ten guys this semester.

Well this has been the first week of Spring Semester 2008 and there will be more to come.
