Employee of the Month
Each month RAGE recognizes one DJ or management personnel and honours them by naming them Employee of the Month.
This month, the title is awarded to two individuals who have worked very hard on developing their own show.

RAGE 103.7 - KDMC
RAGE 103.7 is a low-power FM radio station programmed and managed by students in the Department of Mass Media. Rage began broadcasting in 2003 and quickly established a reputation as Cape's True Alternative, achieving distinction for The Local Spotlight, where the music of local bands is featured every hour at the top of the hour.
The station serves as the radio station laboratory for students enrolled in radio broadcasting courses. If you're a student at Southeast you're invited to become a DJ on Rage and help give voice to Cape's True Alternative Rock Station.
To learn more about becoming a Rage 103.7 DJ simply phone Faculty Advsior Dr. Bruce Mims at 651-2126 or send him an email message (bmims@semo.edu). Prospective DJs must enroll in the one-credit-hour course MC141 Introduction to Radio in order to qualify for appointment to the DJ airstaff.

Joke of the Week
Three contractors are bidding to fix a broken fence at the White House. One is from Chicago, another is from Tennessee, and the third is from Minnesota. All three go with a White House official to examine the fence. The Minnesota contractor takes out a tape measure and does some measuring, then works some figures with a pencil. “Well,” he says, “I figure the job will run about $900: $400 for materials, $400 for my crew and $100 profit for me.” The Tennessee contractor also does some measuring and figuring, then says, “I can do this job for $700: $300 for materials, $300 for my crew and $100 profit for me.” The Chicago contractor doesn’t measure or figure, but leans over to the White House official and whispers, “$2,700.” The official, incredulous, says, “You didn’t even measure like the other guys! How did you come up with such a high figure?” The Chicago contractor whispers back, “$1000 for me, $1000 for you, and we hire the guy from Tennessee to fix the fence.” “Done!” replies the government official.
