Student Support Services

Career counseling is available to assist you in the planning, reviewing and implementing of your career goals. This individual career counseling service is especially designed to help you achieve your career objective, explore occupational possibilities and develop effective job-searching skills.

Southeast Missouri State University - Kennett (SEK) also provides you with an academic advisor who can assist you in determining the courses you need to reach your academic goals. Special attention is given to your future educational plans to ensure classes taken at SEK will transfer to the college or university you plan to attend. In addition, the academic advisor will assist you with enrollment, registration and financial aid information.

Each semester, SEK offers a number of workshops designed to enhance student success. Workshop topics include: test taking, study skills and time management, to name a few. These workshops are offered at a variety of times in order to fit your schedule.
