Lisa
Hi my name is Lisa Nolan. I was originally born in Queens, New York, but I was raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. I graduated from Soldan International Studies High School. I am a sophomore here at SEMO. While at SEMO, I participate in S.E.L.F (Sisterhood, Empowerment, Leadership and Femininity), Unity First Council, Campus Outreach and of course Emerging Leaders. My major is secondary English education. I hope to teach for at least ten years and the one day become a principle of a high school. Then I hope to build my very own high school, that I can call mine! I love to help others. I love to be the shoulder that people lean on and I love to be a person that people can look up to but see me as a person just like them. I love Emerging Leaders for the simple fact it helps student learn more about leadership. It goes above and beyond in learning about leadership skills. I met some great people who have become my friends and I have had a terrific experience with it. I hope as a facilitator I can help to make someone or others have an exciting, useful and resourceful experience just as the facilitators in my group did for me!
