Mission of Southeast Leadership Programs
The mission of Southeast Leadership Programs is to provide leadership development training through co-curricular learning opportunities that can be translated into real-life experiences. Participants of the program will develop strategies and diverse perspectives that will enable them to be engaged members of the Southeast community and beyond.
What Do Southeast Leadership Programs Have to Offer?
Southeast Leadership Programs (SLP) are a series of opportunities offered through Campus Life for Southeast students to explore, develop and expand their leadership skills. Collectively, the programs offered through SLP allow students to learn about leadership through experiential learning opportunities, theoretical frameworks, and fun, practical programs and activities. The wide variety of programs allows students to seek out leadership opportunities that fit their individual interests and personal goals.
Get Involved!
Each opportunity within Southeast Leadership Programs has individual requirements for participation. Some require the submission of applications or have a registration process. A complete description of each SLP experience can be found by clicking the links below.
Cornerstone Leadership Programs
Through the series, participants learn to lead self, lead others, and lead community through change. This three-tiered progression of leadership programs is based on the Social Change Model of Leadership Development. Students may enter the series at any point in the program, however, it is designed to be completed in sequence.
