National Student Speech, Language, Hearing Association
Purpose of Organization:
NSSLHA is the National Student Speech, Language, & Hearing Association. Founded in 1972, it operates as an independent organization and is recognized by the discipline's professional association, the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), as the official organization for students interested in human communication sciences and disorders. Involvement in NSLHA leads to a uller appreciation of the profession of speech-language pathology and audiology and a greater awareness of the issues affecting the field.
