The requirements for a BGS degree are as follows:

I. University Studies Requirements (General Education)

48 hours

 II.  Major Requirements

30 hours at 300-500 level (select any)

III. General Requirements for Graduation 

1. Residency at Southeast-at least 30 hours at Southeast
2. Current residency at Southeast-12 of final 18 hours must be taken at Southeast
3. Grade Point Average at Southeast:  2.0 minimum required
4. Grade Point Average Cumulative:  2.0 minimum required
5. Writing Proficiency - WP003 75 Hour Writing Proficiency Exam with passing score required
6. A student cannot take more than 30 hours in the College of Business while seeking this degree.
7. California Critical Thinking Exam (CCTST).

IV.    Other Requirements

1. TOTAL hours required: 
   124 hours required for graduation
2. 56 Hour Requirement: 
   56 hours must be taken at a four year institution
3. ALL required developmental courses must be completed.
