    Barrios Named Executive of the Year

    Dr. Frank Barrios, Dean, College of Liberal Arts, was recently selected as the 2011 Executive of the Year for the Girardot Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) at its annual Executive Recognition Banquet on October 18. “Dr. Barrios is the executive every boss should strive to be and the boss every administrative professional wants to work for," said Carol Kitchen, CPS/CAP, senior administrative assistant for the College of Liberal Arts. IAAP is a not-for-profit professional association for office professionals with approximately 28,000 members and affiliates. The IAAP mission is “Enhancing the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development.” For more information about the Girardot Chapter of IAAP, visit iaap-girardot.org.
