Best sellers
Titles from the New York Times best sellers list are displayed in Sadie's Place. All patrons can check these titles out for 21 days, with one renewal.

Bulletin boards
Available on the 3rd & 4th floors near the elevator. Students, faculty, and staff may post any University-related activity information. No pre-approval is necessary.

Cameras
Flip ultra HD cameras are available for checkout in the Instructional Materials Center (IMC) located on the 3rd floor.

Change machine
Located on the main floor. Accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills and dispenses quarters. Small bills may also be broken at the Periodicals Desk.

Children's books
Children and young adult books are available in the Instructional Materials Center (IMC) on the 3rd floor. Local patrons are welcome to use these materials in the library building.

Copiers
Photocopy machines are available on the main floor and in the reference area on the 3rd floor. There is one color copier on the 3rd floor. Copy machines accept University departmental copy cards as well as coins and bills. Large bills can be broken at the Periodicals Desk.

Desktop computers
Desktop computers with Internet access are available on the main and 3rd floors. Microsoft Office is also available on the 3rd floor computers. Use your Southeast key for access. There are two computer stations, available to all patrons, for Kent Library catalog access on the 4th floor.

Government Documents (Federal & Missouri)
Documents distributed in print are shelved on the 4th floor. Contact the Reference Desk at 573-651-2230 for help in locating and using both online and print government documents.

Group study rooms
Group study rooms are available on a first come first served basis. There are four group study rooms on the main floor - two across from Sadie's Place, two across from the Periodicals Desk, six on the 3rd floor, and one on the 4th, room 411.

Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center
The Heather MacDonald Greene Multimedia Center is located in room 329 of Kent Library. The Center has production rooms with capabilities for group PowerPoint presentations, video and sound recording, and video, sound and photo editing. Services are available to University students, faculty, and staff.

ILL and MOBIUS
Students, faculty and staff can request materials through MOBIUS or journal articles or other unavailable items through ILL. Local patrons may use Interlibrary Loan (ILL) to request materials Kent Library does not own.

Information Literacy Instruction
Library faculty provide information literacy instruction for University classes and visiting high schools.

Kent Café
The Kent Café is located on the main floor in Sadie's Place. Coffees, teas, bottled beverages, and snacks are available for purchase. For current hours of operation, check Chartwell's hours of operation.

Laptops
Laptops for use within the library building are available at the Circulation Desk. This service is available to University students, faculty, and staff. Laptop Policy.

Lost and found
Located at main Circulation Desk. For items left in the computer lab area check with the lab assistant on duty.

Microform scanner/printer
Available in the periodicals area on the main floor. The microform scanner/printer handles both microfilm and microfiche: view and print or save to USB drive or CD-R.

Micro-opaque card viewer
Allows viewing of the micro card format (no printing available for this machine).

New Books
Displayed in Sadie's Place and listed in the online catalog.

Printing
Computers on the main floor print to copier/printers in the periodicals area or Sadie's Place. Computers in 3rd floor lab print to lab printers. Students, faculty, and staff use their Southeast key to print. There is currently no printing available from the catalog access terminal.

Renew books online
A feature of the 'view your record' service available in the online catalog: view renewal instructions | renew items now.

Research help
Ask us! Assistance is available in person at the Reference Desk on the 3rd floor, by phone 573-651-2230, by email, via chat, or by appointment.

Reserve a room
Group study room KL335 and KL411 in Kent Library may be reserved by University faculty members and student organizations. See the policy for more information.

Scanning
A scanner and copier-printer with scanning capabilities are located in the computer lab on the third floor. This equipment is available to University students, faculty, and staff.

Televised News
Wall mounted closed captioned televisions, preset to news channels, are located on the main floor in Sadie’s Place.

Typewriter
Located in the hallway outside the Instructional Materials Center (IMC). For questions or assistance, ask at the IMC service desk.

Vending machines
Located on the 1st floor (basement). Soft drink and snack machines are available during all building hours.

Videos: VHS & DVDs
Housed in the Instructional Materials Center (IMC), the collection includes feature films (both classic and recent releases), foreign language feature films, documentaries, tutorials and instructional videos.

Video cameras
Housed in the Instructional Materials Center (IMC). Digital camcorders are available for 3 days checkout by University students, faculty, and staff. Their availability can be checked online here. Usage policy.

View your record
Available via the online catalog. Check status of MOBIUS requests, renew books and save searches. Email alerts based on saved searches are available for new library items.

Wireless
Wireless access is available to University students, faculty, and staff throughout the library building. Use your Southeast key to gain access to the network. Instructions for connecting to the University's wireless network.
