Colorguard Application
Featured Twirler Audition Application

The Color Guard and Feature Twirler(s) are a very important part of the Golden Eagles Marching Band. These groups have been in existence for more than 20 years. The guard and twirler(s) perform at all GEMB performances during the fall semester. The main venue for GEMB performances is Houck Stadium on the main campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

The guard and twirler(s) practice during the same class time as the Golden Eagles, however, they often rehearse separately from the winds and percussion until routines are well learned. The guard schedules rehearsals on Wednesday evenings during the fall semester. Attendance at additional practices is mandatory. Exceptions can be made in emergency situations. The guard captain is to be notified prior to a missed rehearsal.

Every member is required to audition for the guard each season, including returning members. Auditions are held during the spring semester in mid-to-late April.

If you have any questions regarding Southeast Colorguard or Feature Twirler(s), please contact Dr. Martin Reynolds by email or by phone 573-651-2334.
