(First of all, allow me to apologize for not posting for a while. We have limited internet connection while we are here, and the connection I’m currently using is costing me an arm and a leg! We’ve also been at it from 6am-11pm everyday since we’ve been in Edinburgh. Remember to check back to these for added pictures. You have a lot of reading to do! Remember to read these in chronological order.)

Well, I got up this morning and saw out the window for the first time the North Sea! It has been too foggy to see up until now. What a great view! Then I looked over to find my trumpet case sitting in its own pond! I knew I wouldn’t be able to use it today, so I decided to carry my trumpet around with me everywhere we went.

We had a full cast rehearsal at the barracks at 8:00 a.m. and then we performed the show for a few locals there at the barracks. Everything went very well. The crowd loved our dance moves! We ate lunch at the barracks and headed back to the dorms for some naptime. I hate naps, so I wondered around outside the dorms. I got stopped by some of the media people from the Edinburgh Festivals media and was asked if I could do an interview. I agreed and so did Dr. Conger and Nikki Eggleston. It was a great interview and was told that the interview video will eventually be posted at www.edinburghfestivals.co.uk. Members of our band are getting interviewed everyday and we have also appeared in at least two newspapers each day.

After the interview it was time to head to the castle for a back-to-back run through of the show, with lights and everything! It finally feels like we are part of the world’s largest military Tattoo. Tomorrow is our dress rehearsal in front of 10,000 people and the BBC is also filming, so I must go get my beauty rest!
