Edinburgh: Free Day!
Brooke Privett
We have the day off today because we were supposed to go to Stirling, which is where all of the William Wallace activities are located, but that trip has been post-poned until next Sunday. It is a gorgeous day today! I’m a bit tired today though because a few of us stayed up until 5:30 this morning!! Oh, but that was the most fun I have had in a long time. There are some truly funny people on this trip, and we just could not stop talking and laughing. I am literally sore today from last night. That is truly the one thing about this trip that I have loved the most is getting to know everybody. Most of the people in marching band I have always just “known of,” but now I can truly say they are my friends, and I can actually put a name to a face. There are even people on this trip that I thought I didn’t like, but now I love being around them! I don’t exactly know what I am going to do today with my free time. I have a load of laundry going, which that has been an experience all on its own (yes, the laundry machine does a fun little jig,) but after that I’ll just go wherever the road takes me.
