Important information from the Dean of Graduate Studies regarding research:
Any study that involves the use of Human Subjects (e.g. surveys, observations, testing, use of institutional data) will require approval of the Human Subjects Committee. Studies involving the use of animals must have approval of the Institutional Animal Care and Usage Committee (IACUC).

The Applied Statistics Center, located in the Department of Mathematics, offers statistical consultant services primarily to graduate students and faculty members at Southeast. The center will consider contract work with external institutions and individuals. Fees are determined on a case-by-case basis and depend on such factors as amount of consultation needed, available grant funds and number of consultations in progress. The center provides consulting services in statistical methodology. Statistical areas in which consulting will be provided include data analysis, mixed linear models, design of experiments, medical statistics, logistics regression models, multivariate analysis, social and business structural equation models, regression analysis, ANOVA, MANOVA, MANCOVA, questionnaire design, statistical analysis of data, use of statistical packages and data display.
