Application Fee All new students must submit a non-refundable $25 ($35 for International students) processing fee with the admission application.
Incidental Fees. Incidental fees are charged to cover expenses not funded by the State of Missouri. For students who are not Missouri residents, a non-resident fee is charged in addition to the incidental fee. Upon request, the Bursar will furnish students with a copy of "A Policy for Classification of Students for Fee Paying Purposes, which clarifies residency status for fee-paying purposes. Information is available from Financial Aid Services relating to credits for Missouri income taxes paid which may be allowed toward the Non-resident fee charges.

General Fee A general fee of $10.70 per credit hour is charged each semester and are assessed for courses taken both on and off the University's main campus. The on-campus general fee supports certain on-campus facilities, computer labs and student activities; the off-campus service fee supports expenses unique to providing instruction at remote locations.
Late Enrollment Fee Students enrolling on or after the first day of classes for the semester are charged a non-refundable $15.00 late enrollment fee.
Web delivered courses fee an additional fee of $7 per credit hour will be added for all web courses.
Returned Check Fee All checks payable to the University are subject to a $20 fee for each returned check. Students who have checks returned may lose check cashing privileges and be subject to disciplinary action. Personal checks will not be accepted for payment of returned checks. Returned checks maybe paid by cash, money order, certified check, Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.
Housing Fees The seven residence halls on campus offer a variety of options in living arrangements and four different meal plans. The room and board fees vary depending on the accommodations and meal plan that students choose. However, most graduate students choose to live off-campus and housing in Cape Girardeau is very affordable.
