The Southeast Mobile Web site is designed to allow quick access to a wealth of campus information straight from your iPhone, iPod Touch or smart phone.
To access the site, open up your mobile device's Web browser (Safari on the iPhone, for example) and go to either http://m.semo.edu. The site will then open if you are connected to a wireless internet network (WiFi, Edge or 3G). There is nothing to download or purchase*. You access all the functions of the mobile Web site through your device's Web browser.
Using Southeast’s mobile Web site users can access emergency phone numbers or e-mail addresses for campus faculty and staff. They can also access the latest campus news, athletics scores and the University’s master calendar, and even listen to Southeast's on-campus radio stations.**
*Access to the Southeast Mobile Web site is free, but service fees from your cellphone carrier still apply. You will need a web/data plan from your carrier or a WiFi connection to access the Southeast Mobile Web site.

About the Framework
The mobile Web site was built using an open-source framework developed by MIT. Designated the Mobile Web Open Source Project, the framework was documented for the use of other campuses by Dave Olsen of West Virginia University. The Framework was adapted for use at Southeast Missouri State University by Web Design and Support in Marketing and University Relations.
