An awards ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. Awards in sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, photography, fibers, drawing, painting, the Art Academy Award and Best of Show will be presented. The Art Academy Award will be given to a junior for outstanding work; this junior will receive a scholarship to attend one of the University’s summer Art Academy workshops. The Best of Show recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend Southeast as an art major.

This year’s juror will be Shannon Duffy, adjunct instructor at West Kentucky Community and Technical College and Murray State University. She also exhibits and sells her work internationally.

While at MSU she organized the 31st Annual Kentucky Regional High School Art Exhibition and taught workshops to teachers and children. During the summer of 2015, she taught a metals workshop at Appalachian Center for Craft.
