The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University’s River Campus is hosting UZ-2-B, a four-day, summer academy for youth June 4-7.
UZ–2–B participants ages 4-15 will see and explore how things “used to be” before all these new-fangled, handy-dandy gadgets and technology gizmos with fun activities (and some work) with fun hands-on activities focusing on regional history with stories, role play, prehistoric and historic museum artifacts and more.
Because of limited seating, pre-registration is required for this free event. (Adult registration is required with preschoolers. Please, no children under 4.)
Participants will experience a number of interesting and regional history, inventions and innovations of times past.
A morning session for ages 4-8 is 9 to 11 a.m. Adult supervision is required for preschoolers. An afternoon session for ages 9-15 is 1 to 4 p.m.
