'Transportation: Underground to Outer Space' Family Day June 6 at Crisp Museum

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., May 15, 2009 -- The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo., announces the first of its monthly Family Days on Saturday, June 6.

Families can drop by the museum between 1 and 4 p.m. for "Transportation: Underground to Outer Space Family Day."  Hands-on activities and displays will include early trails, bridge construction, riverboats, airplanes, rockets and more. 

Mark your calendar for these upcoming Family Days at the Crisp Museum: July 11–The Visual Voice; Aug. 29–Artist’s Issues; Sept. 26–Connecting People with the Land; Oct. 24–Pop Art; Nov. 21–Inside Out; Dec. 20–Shaping Space.
