Cantus Choralis is the University’s newest choral ensemble. Open to all University students by audition, this twenty-voice chamber choir is designed to study, rehearse and perform choral works most appropriately sung by a small ensemble. Specific attention will be given to (but not limited to) the music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Singers also will learn about and engage in period- and style-appropriate performance practices. Cantus Choralis rehearses Wednesday afternoons from 4:30–6 and Fridays from noon–12:50. (audition required)
For audition information, or if you would like to know more about choral opportunities at Southeast, call or e-mail Dr. Steve Hendricks.
