The Chamber Choir is open to all University students by audition. This sixteen-voice ensemble is designed to study, rehearse and perform choral works most appropriately sung by a small group. Specific attention is given (but not limited) to the music of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Singers also learn about and engage in period- and style-appropriate performance practices. The Chamber Choir rehearses Wednesday afternoons from 4:30–6 and Fridays from 12:30–1:20. (audition required)
For audition information contact Dr. Peter Durow, director of choral activities by phone at (573) 651-2342 or by email at pdurow@semo.edu
