The Choral Union is a mixed choir comprised of both student and community members. Its primary role is to serve as a symphonic chorus performing major choral works each semester with the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra. This semester, the Choral Union, along with the University Choir and the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra, will be presenting a “Holiday Pops” concert on November 29, sharing some beloved carols and secular songs of the season.  Membership in the Choral Union is open to all experienced and confident singers. There is no required audition to sing in the Choral Union. The choir is conducted by Dr. Barbara Lamont, the new Director of Choral Activities at Southeast.

Choral Union rehearsals for the 2016-2017 season will move BACK to Monday evenings.  The choir meets from 7 to 9 p.m. in room 120 of the Dobbins River Campus Center. All community singers in Choral Union must purchase their own scores.  Fall semester the charge will be $14. Please come to the first rehearsal prepared to pay for your music.
