The Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra will combine with Southeast’s Choral Union and University Choir in a glorious work, Behold My Heart (Ecce Cor Meum) for soprano soloist, choirs and orchestra written by the famed British musician, Sir Paul McCartney. After sold out performances on both sides of the Atlantic in 2006, Ecce Cor Meum was released as a CD in 2007 and was named the “Best Classical Album of the Year.” Also on the program will be marvelous English music by Vaughan Williams (his London Symphony) and William Walton (Crown Imperial March).

This presentation will include narration of the sonnets. Also on the program will be the thrilling, emotionally-charged late masterpiece by the revered Classical composer, Mozart: his Great G Minor Symphony No. 40.
