Policy on Repeating Courses

Approved by the Board of Regents April 22, 1982:

"Students may repeat a given course to raise the grade provided they have not completed a more advanced course for which the repeated course is a prerequisite. When a course is repeated, the first grade remains on the record, but the latter grade is used in computing grade points and hours accumulated. In the calculation of hours at graduation, all course grades are to be considered by the Registrar. Students must have the permission of the Registrar to repeat courses."
