Museum Offering Free Youth Workshops During Spring Semester
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 15, 2009 -- The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum has announced its lineup of free youth workshops Tuesdays at the Museum to be held during the spring 2009 semester at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus.
Classes will be offered at 10 a.m. and at 2 and 4 p.m. on the following days:
Jan. 20 - What Are Civil Rights?
Jan. 27 - Ups and Downs with Topography
Feb. 3 - Creative Cards
Feb. 10 - A Sharecropper's Story
Feb. 17 - Color Value in Realism
Feb. 24 - Pointillism
March 3 - Art as a Metaphor
March 17 - Eroding the Banks
March 31 - Ancient Faces
April 7 - Art Gallery Scavenger Hunt
April 14 - Art Recycled
April 21 - Behind the Scenes at the Museum
April 28 - Art of Steven Poster
