Instruction begins at "square one" and is taught in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Skills covered include note and rhythm reading, proper hand position, basic chord structure and ensemble playing. The class meets on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. in the electronic piano lab in the Seminary Building at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus, beginning Sept. 21.
Adult Piano level 3 will also be offered this fall on Mondays at 7:15 p.m. beginning Sept. 21.
