Department of Nursing to Hold April 30 Symposium on Quality, Safety

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., April 21, 2010 – Southeast Missouri State University’s Department of Nursing will host the Margaret Woods-Allen Research Symposium, "Crossing the Bridge to Quality and Safety: The Path to Clinical Excellence," on Friday, April 30, in Glenn Auditorium of Robert A. Dempster Hall. The event is co-sponsored by Southeast Missouri Hospital and Saint Francis Medical Center.

This symposium is designed to provide registered nurses, advanced practice registered nurses, staff nurses in acute care, rehabilitation and long-term care, and undergraduate and graduate nursing students an opportunity to enhance their understanding of evidence-based practice as a way to promote quality and safety in clinical healthcare.
